Everybody is against everybody

A buddy of mine tipped me off to this new spot for Amnesty International last night and it appears to be making it's way around the internets today. If you haven't already seen this, give it a looksie, powerful messaging and awesome motion graphic-ness. From Leo Burnett - Portugal.

The Blacklighter

Censorship of the press/free speech by oppressive governments around the world is a major issue of concern for the International Society for Human Rights. This campaign sends a message to German journalists and those in the press; bringing the issue to light and persuading them to get involved with the IGFM to help make a difference for their counterparts around globe. Nice work.

Jot it down

Fun campaign here promoting New York's School of Visual Arts; Playing on the fact that many of us, creative or not, turn to most any writable surface when we have a spark of imagination, or just need to remember that number.

Humans are among us

Fun work here for the SciFi channel from S&S Milan. The illustrations and typography are a spot on adaptation of their original novel inspirations. I can't help but read into these a bit more and get a sense that the depiction of humans is representative of our own nature to subjugate new land and um, monsters.

Cultural shift

Nice work here from DDB Milan. This print ad ran in the popular Italian woman's magazine Grazia and addressed the social issue of women not receiving equal opportunity in the job market after they give birth. A sort of psa, if you will. Well done.

You might have seen this one already, as it is airing now, but if not, now's your chance! I can't help but smile every time I watch this. Enjoy.

Bring your kids to work - if you dare

Fun spot from BBDO NY in support of the companies 'Bring your kids to work' day. I myself might have had a heart attack if I showed up to work one morning and saw crayon scribble all over my mac, but that's just me. Excellent concept, playful engagement and overall execution make this lighthearted piece work so well. I wonder though, what did everyones work space look like when the day was over...
